New World Symphony // A Celebration of John Williams Gala Invite

In celebration of New World Symphony’s thirty-first anniversary, this special invitation invited guests for a once-in-a-lifetime evening with America’s most beloved composer of film and stage, John Williams. Spanning a five-decade career, he has composed the music for more than one hundred films including all eight Star Wars films, the first three Harry Potter films, Superman, Memoirs of a Geisha and Home Alone. His 45-year partnership with director Steven Spielberg has resulted in many of Hollywood’s most acclaimed films, including Schindler’s List, E.T., Jaws, Jurassic Park, the Indian Jones films and Saving Private Ryan, to name a few. Mr. Williams has also composed the themes for four Olympic Games, received five Academy Awards and fifty-one Oscar nominations, twenty-four Grammys, four Golden Globes and five Emmys.
